Last weekend I was off on a mini vacation to Baltimore, partly because my girlfriend and I love the city, and other part was to enjoy the Baltimore Comic Con. On our “off” day, I got to go to Alliance Comics which is a great comic book shop.
Alliance has an amazing–and really well organized–collection of recent comics and graphic novels. They pretty much had everything I could think of. Not to mention, Alliance has options for the more budget conscious comics fan, with a huge library of discounted trades and a back room filled with $1 back issues. Every time I’ve been there, the staff has been extremely friendly and knowledgeable, both of which are the signs of a great shop. Needless to say, I was very happy to leave with a stack of stuff for the ride home.
